Just a quick note to say that I'm working currently on the "Build a Store" script and hope to have it done later today.

Thanks,

Added a new webcomic to the list - Natalie Dee. It's a quick read each day.

I found out about it from here.

Warner Brothers and CBS Corp. announced plans Tuesday for the creation of a new broadcast television network, called CW, that would replace the WB and UPN networks in the fall of this year.

Read about it here.

I wonder what will happen in markets where there is both an UPN and a WB affliate. Most of those had been local indepenants in the past.

Morrisons.jpg

MartinUK gives us a picture of a local supermarket that is having a few problems with its lights.

It made me smile, so I'll share it with you!

Morrisons are a national supermarket chain in the UK. It seems they wire the letters of their signs in three groups of three letters each. Guessed what's coming?

I posted an Iron Chef over at PPMB:

Real simple: Take a phrase from the show and use it entirely different from how it was used before.

It appears someone has figured out how to automate the sign up procedure here at WordPress.com. Seems like nothing but splogs coming across the bottom of my dashboard. I've gone ahead and reported almost 20 of them so far this morning. No idea how many went by me.

Boy, I bet Donncha O Caoimh is going to hate my guts in a few minutes.

Joystiq reports on how E3 is censoring its exhibitors this year.

*pout*

Takes all the fun out of it.

From the BBC:

A 20-year-old American has admitted hijacking thousands of computers and using them to send out spam.

Jeanson James Ancheta pleaded guilty in a Los Angeles court to charges of conspiring to violate anti-spam and computer misuse laws, as well as fraud.

...

Mr Ancheta was charged in November with 17 counts of conspiracy, fraud and other crimes in connection with a 14-month crime spree that started in June 2004.

...

In entering his guilty pleas, Mr Ancheta admitted selling access to his botnet to firms which fed pop-up ads to the infected computers.

Among the machines infected were US military computers in California and in Virginia.

Under a plea agreement, Mr Ancheta is expected to receive from four years to six years in prison when he is sentenced on 1 May, though the deal has to be approved by a judge.

He also agreed to pay $15,000 (£8,800) in restitution to the military facilities affected and forfeit the proceeds of his illicit activities, including more than $60,000 (£35,000) in cash and a 1993 BMW.

I noted that he doesn't have to pay any restitution to those he infected outside of the military. Hmmm, imagine that.

I've gone ahead and am now allowing those without WordPress accounts to make comments here. Maybe that'll help people leave their thoughts.

I did turn on the spam prevention though. :)

Thanks for visiting,
