From here:

A Miami-based dancer is suing the owners and producers of the Broadway musical "Movin' Out" for more than $100 million in damages on grounds that she was emotionally abused and fired after her breasts grew too large for her costumes.

I always knew that Billy Joel was evil. :)

It's based on a design by Doug Bowman called Minima Black, originally for Blogger. I took the basic design/layout, and mapped it into WordPress terms, tweaked the styles a bunch to get it close (it's STILL not perfect, never will be, the guy's a genius!), and just did the remaining work on writing up the template changes, and making the calendar look halfway-decent. New for WP2 are fixes for the comment form and built-in CG-Amazon styling support to match the dark look.

Rusty Brick gives us an arguement on why Ugly Sites Earn More With Google AdSense. Basically he says that "people land on the site, and immediately want to click off. They find the nearest ad, and most attractive part of the page, which happens to be the AdSense ad, and clicks off. Phew, they are saved and they move on to a real dating site, that is both professional looking and functional."

WebLogToolsCollection makes a post about People who add Google to their del.icio.us bookmarks and gives a link to the list of people who have done so.

What they don't realize is that people use Google to search for Google according to Nielsen//NetRatings.

Dork Tower Webcomic Since I was already digging through the Dork Tower archives looking for a specific webcomic written for Kim Possible, I’ve desided to go ahead and add it to the list of webcomics that I read. You’ll find a link to it over to the right.

From here:

[Jay Allen] had a chance to gab this week with the show's creators, Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley, whom I caught up with after they had just attended a recording session for Season 4. Naturally, since I write for Blogging Baby, I hit them from the parenting angle - asking about their show's appeal to parents, how kids' TV has changed in the past two decades, and how they manage their own childrens' TV viewing time.

Kim: Ron, so you're the peeping tom?!?!?

From here:

Last month, the Motion Picture Association of America announced one of its boldest sorties yet against online piracy: a barrage of seven federal lawsuits against some of the highest-profile BitTorrent sites, Usenet hosts and peer-to-peer services. Among the targets: isoHunt, TorrentSpy and eDonkey.

But, as always, one prominent site is missing from the movie industry's announcement (.pdf), and it happens to be the simplest and best-known source of traded movies -- along with pirated video games, music, software, audio books, television broadcasts and nearly any other form of media imaginable. The site is called The Pirate Bay, and it's operated by a crew of intrepid Swedes who revel in tormenting the content industries.
