"Apparently, a company in Sweden is offering file-sharing insurance - they'll pay your fines if you're sued by the RIAA. The /. submitter translates the link as follows: 'For a mere 140 SEK ($19 USD) per year, they will pay all your fines and give you a t-shirt if you get convicted for file sharing.'"
The Pirate Bay has failed in its bid to have its servers returned after they were seized during an MPAA-inspired police raid.
This site has taken DiggUser's cartoon vids, added 1500 more music videos from the 80s, and a few 'ladies of YouTube' streams and put them into a streamlined channel browser with thumbnails for every video. (IFrames != Ajax, but good enough.)

A woman living in Germany is auctioning off her red Ferrari Enzo sports car and including a little extra in the package -- herself. Leila said she would meet with interested bidders but would need to see the bidder's passport and proof of capital. No bids have been made yet in the auction which ends in a week.
