Finally got a chance to run a virus scan on the laptop with an updated virus info packet and guess what I get.
*sigh*
First the gay porn, now this. What did the previous owner do on this thing?
Taken from the Medium at Large Webcomic when it still existed:

I count seven little ones in here with me.
Seven loud, playing little ones. :(
And one of them running around the shop.
But wait, what's this guitar and drum set in the corner! :)
YouTube is being sued by an industrial equipment maker whose domain name is Utube.com. Universal Tube and Rollform Equipment said it has been deluged by confused video searchers causing numerous crashes of its site and costing it business. The company's site once drew a steady 1,500 unique users monthly, Utube said, but that figure has soared to some 2 million per month in recent weeks.
Heard in a coffee shop:
"So I got this email from my bank about how they needed to update my information about my account and I clicked on the link and filled in all of my information and the strangest thing I had money missing from my account. I have to call them sometime and see what's going on."
*sigh*
Maybe someday folks will realize that if your bank has an issue with your account, they're going to write you about it, not send you an email.
/me shakes his head...
Greets:
Sitting here at Dilworth Play House drinking something cold and with chocolate and trying to get some work done. Have to go get my mail as they just called and said I have some stuff in.
An interesting post over at Irfan's about the current issue with folks underbidding on coding projects. I find it interesting especially since so often it's assumed that folks in Open Source projects will drop everything, spend hours coding to get something done for someone and not get anything back in return for their trouble. Just because software is labeled Open Source or Free software doesn't mean that it doesn't cost anything. In this case, free means freedom to use it how you want it.
Thomas Connolly is in trouble yet again. You may remember him as he announced President Bush's drunk driving record.
