An interesting WordPress Plugin - WordPress Suicide It's returns your WordPress install back to it's original state except for the user tables. That means if you have a bad import, you can remove the posts and comments and try again.
Not sure if or how it works on WordPress 2.1 or Wordpress Multiuser.
A nod to ady for the link.

Per a request over at daria.be, I whipped up a quick WordPress plugin and am making it available for download. It places the one.org banner in the upper right of your blog and provides a link to their site. All you have to do is drop the oneorg.php file into your /wp-content/plugins/ subdirectory and activate the plugin within your Dashboard. It also work on the WordPress Multiuser platform if you make plugins optional for your end users.
Hope this helps,

DownloadBloggers and online journalists have completed their final victory lap in a protracted fight against Apple. Earlier this month, a Santa Clara County Court ordered Apple to pay the legal fees associated with the defense of subpoenas issued to online journalists (and other related entities) in response to online reports about a confidential audio/video product -- code-named "Asteroid" -- under development at the Cupertino-based company. The "Asteroid" product was never released, but Apple claimed the news reports violated California state trade secret law and that the journalists were not entitled to First Amendment protections. However, following an appeals decision last year that strongly sided with the journalists, the Court ordered Apple to pay all legal costs associated with the defense, including a 2.2 times multiplier of the actual fees.
A few weeks ago, Matt listed the top 50 searches over on wordpress.org in their support forums. It made for an interesting read.
For the longest time, I've had issues with trying to optimize the huge MySQL datatables that exist over at daria.be. With over 6,000 tables, pulling up the database in something like phpMyAdmin wasn't working too well. Took about 20 minutes just to load it up.
My host found a script on line that goes though table by table and optimizes it if needbe. It runs through all of the databases accessable by the MySQL user so it whould work on multidatabase installs of WPMu as well.
The code for the most part comes from here with some modifications made by myself to allow for the WPMu system. Instructions are included within the php file.
Download it from here. Should work on non-WPMu setups as well. Anything with large numbers of MySQL data tables.
Looks like Google has taken action on preventing future Google Bombs.
I just think there were more folks talking about this example of Google Bombing instead of actually doing it. That and the sites talking about Google bombs probably outweigh in importance the sites doing the bombing.
Oh, lookie. Here's another Kim Possible Season 4 promo. Here's a link to the last one.

We've recently discussed tag pollution over at the wp.com support forums. Here's a perfect example over at Youtube.
The video is pretty stupid as well. Maybe I should start a Stupid Youtube video blog. :)
