Satellite radio's two rivals have agreed to merge. XM Satellite Radio Holdings and Sirius Satellite Radio announced the plan Monday. The deal will consolidate the only two companies in the emerging business of subscription-only satellite radio. It's sure to face tough scrutiny from federal regulators. A clause in the Federal Communications Commission ruling that gave the satellite radio operators a license said one company cannot own the other one. Investors and analysts have been speculating about a deal for months. The two companies said in a statement that Mel Karmazin, the CEO of Sirius, would become chief executive of the new company while Gary Parsons, the chairman of XM, would remain in that role. The merger will join Howard Stern and NASCAR on Sirius with XM's Oprah Winfrey, Bob Dylan and Major League Baseball.

Ashley's a Kim Possible fan who for the longest time has had her blog password protected. I noticed a few days ago that she's gone ahead and removed it. She writes those more interesting Kim possible fanfictions if you know what I mean. ;) edit: Fixed link and added the link over on the Kim Possible: Remixed site since I mention her from time to time.

If you've not noticed yet, I've gone ahead and done some rearranging of the sites. Some of you are probably doing "What the hey?..." so we'll cover things quickly.

The Kim Possible Remixed Webcomic is now at http://kimpossibleremixed.com. The old sites at daria.be, tdjc.be, and wordpress.com should now redirect to the new URL.

My main blog has now been given it's new URL: http://drmikessteakdinner.com. The old sites at tdjc.be and wordpress.com should redirect as well.

The redirects for the categories are still messed up but I'll worry about that later on.

The Kim Possible Screen Capture site will remain on the tdjc.be domain as will the others ones hosted there.

You may have also noticed new links within the sidebar. I've had a couple requests for a link to a Paypal account for donations and I've gone ahead and added in an affliate link as well. If you use eBay, feel free to visit that site via that link as we get some change if you win an auction over there. Just for reference, both were approved by wordpress.com staff. :)

Well, ihop is going to do the free pancakes again this year to celebrate National Pancake Day (also known as Mardi Gras, or Shrove Tuesday) on Tuesday, February 20, 2007. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., they'll give you one free short stack (three) of buttermilk pancakes. All they ask is that you consider making a donation to support local children's hospitals through Children's Miracle Network, or other local charities.

I saw this last year but the one that I went to didn't do the program. I guess we'll see about it this year.

Donald Trump and Vince McMahon meet in the ring on Thursday night's episode of WWE's RAW on USA Network. The two men will settle their differences at WrestleMania, and one of the two will go home bald. Which one will it be?

Just a quick mention that I'm looking into a new domain for the blog here. There's a poll up on tdjc.be for you to hit. I'm down to two choices for people to choose or they can leave a comment with their own suggestion. I'm hoping to combine the tdjc.be and drmike.wordpress.com blogs into one. See if I can get a better Google Page Rank. Kind of stupid keeping the two blogs as they are. Granted they get a fair amount of traffic for both of them. Let's see what I can do with them combined.

I'm hoping to get the sites redirected to the new domain sometime tomorrow. I'll be sure to put in redirects.

Also gotta admit that I'm curious to see if I can qualify for wordpress.com's VIP program. ;)

Looks interesting. Gotta admit that while I like the idea of Underdog being more "dog like" then the cartoon, I'm actually finding it a bit of a letdown. Seems like the cartoon version of Underdog was supposed to look like that. *shrug*

Still looks cool though.
