Fire crews in Gaston County put out two fires that broke out in people's homes early Monday morning. Flames burned a house on the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street around 1:30 a.m. Dorothy Camp owns the home and says her teenage son was looking for something under a bed with a lighter. The bed caught fire, and he could not extinguish it. Firefighters say the back of the house is a total loss and estimate the damage around $50,000. Everyone in the house made it out safely. About 20 minutes later, crews responded to a fire on Crowder Ridge Lane. An empty trailer caught fire, but no one was hurt. Investigators are trying to find out how the fire started.Every hear of something called a flashlight?
