Has anyone ever noticed that…

|
...we're seeing less and less of Automattic staff in the Wordpress.com forums? Or Donncha or Matt on the Wordpress Multiuser support forums? It's rather frustrating. Usually when we see a staff member, it's because I've emailed them to ask for assistance. Must be nice to sit back and let the volunteers handle the issues and folks complaining. Or the extra coding and hacks over on WPMu. Gotta admit that I'm getting rather tired of all of it currently. I've made the suggestion a couple of times over the last few months that they at least publicly thank those who help out. Seen anything? Nope. Ditto on hiring a weekend support member. Trent disappeared fairly quickly from the wp.com support forums. Anyone else notice that? I get more thanks from the 80 year old homeless guy I hand a cup of coffee to every Saturday morning. *sigh*

...those who ask for help in the forums, get your answer and then tell you that you're wrong and continue asking for help without even bothering to try the answer to see if it would work or not? *sigh* I don't paid enough for this. Heck, I don't paid at all. I've been sitting here all day trying to get caught up on daria.be. I would really like to do some writing. Walking home too tonight as I need to save what little cash I have.
...someone who can copy and paste a javascript or embed html code into a post but yet can't do it on the support forums?
One of my spies pointed out to me that Timethief, one of the wonderful folks who help out on the wordpress.com support forums is celebrating her first year anniversary as a blogger today. She's also writen a series of guides on blogging basics for beginners, the use of widgets, and moving around a blog within the wordpress.com domain. I just wanted to take a second and thank her for all of her hard work over there. She's been a big help. Feel free to take a second and visit one of her blogs today. (I think I got them all.)

Thanks Judyb12!

Just a quick note of thanks to Judyb12. She dropped some support into my Paypal Account. I've very thankful for it. As I stated a few days ago, I'm trying to get up enought for rent for April. I was going to try a local day labor place this morning but it rained here in Charlotte. Maybe tomorrow... Thanks again, Judy!

As you may be aware, we have a VIP program here at wordpress.com. This allows folks with high traffic sites like Robert Scoble's blog or Web Worker Daily to not have to worry about their sites getting overloaded from traffic. Added benefits are unlimited bandwidth, load balancing, Akismet spam protection, adverts, plugins, your own theme, and other goodies.

Well, we found another:

Looks like CNN has their Fortune blog here at wordpress.com now. It's called The Browser.

What's this mean? Well, it's another slot prefilled in the top10 blogs list that someone else won't have.
