I learned something today

Yup, still alive.  Bellringing is all over with and I’m playing catch up as quickly as I can.  In the middle of some projects.

Anyway I’ve learned that learned that silk screened shirts should be washed inside-out to maximize their longevity.  I didn’t know that.  Had tons of them after college that I wore quickly over the years that Angie kept nagging me about.  I wonder if they would have worn better if I had done that.

I mostly wear collared polo shirts now a days.

Now you learned something as well. 🙂

To mail or not to mail? That is the question.

I’m sitting here with a birthday card that I picked up on the walk into UNCC this morning.  It was lying on the side of the road on the sidewalk.  It hadn’t been mailing because the stamp was still uncanceled.  It had been opened which is why I know it was a birthday card.  There’s no return address.

Here’s my question.  Do I mail it or just throw it away?

I’d like to mail it.  Wouldn’t cost me anything except for some tape to seal it back up.  I’m hesitant to do so for a couple of reasons.  The envelope has been opened already and it is a bit worn from being on the sidewalk.  I don’t know if the sender has discovered that they’re missing the card and already sent a replacement one.  I would hate to have two show up which may cause some trouble or confusion.  May look back as the envelope is a bit worn as noted.  The card though is fine.

So what would you do?

Ever wonder about #2…

…those who ask for help in the forums, get your answer and then tell you that you’re wrong and continue asking for help without even bothering to try the answer to see if it would work or not?
*sigh*
I don’t paid enough for this. Heck, I don’t paid at all. I’ve been sitting here all day trying to get caught up on daria.be. I would really like to do some writing. Walking home too tonight as I need to save what little cash I have.

Looking for an online todo list

Anyone know of an online to do list that’s free? I’m trying to find one that will allow me to display those lists publicly and maybe have categories and/ or seperate pages instead. Either that or an Open Source program that I can install on one of my own sites.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Taking a few days off

Just a quick heads up to let folks know that I’m planning on taking the rest of the week off. I’m currently working on trying to get as much done as I can and also move my personal sites around to a new server. That’s why daria.be is currently down. Please bare with me.
I’m taking some time off away from the computer to hopefully work for a day labor place that’s recently opened near where I live. I had a $182 repair bill on my laptop this month, I had to take that out of next month’s rent payment, and I have a feeling that I”m going to come up short. Living on a disability check is not fun and I’m still not making enough on hosting to pull out any money from that. (There’s some legal issues with that as well thanks to my ex.)
A quick note of thanks to David W. Boles and the folks over at OneInspiredDude.com for dropping some change into the donation box. It was a big help.
If you care to donate, please use the link to Paypal over there in the right on the sidebar. I would be very grateful.

We’ve Moved

Greets:

If you’ve not noticed yet, I’ve gone ahead and done some rearranging of the sites. Some of you are probably doing “What the hey?…” so we’ll cover things quickly.

The Kim Possible Remixed Webcomic is now at http://kimpossibleremixed.com. The old sites at daria.be, tdjc.be, and wordpress.com should now redirect to the new URL.

My main blog has now been given it’s new URL: http://drmikessteakdinner.com. The old sites at tdjc.be and wordpress.com should redirect as well.

The redirects for the categories are still messed up but I’ll worry about that later on.

The Kim Possible Screen Capture site will remain on the tdjc.be domain as will the others ones hosted there.

You may have also noticed new links within the sidebar. I’ve had a couple requests for a link to a Paypal account for donations and I’ve gone ahead and added in an affliate link as well. If you use eBay, feel free to visit that site via that link as we get some change if you win an auction over there. Just for reference, both were approved by wordpress.com staff. 🙂

Please let me know if something doesn’t work for you and thanks for visiting. 🙂
