Still playing clean up on all of the bookmarks I've saved over the last few weeks. :)
I'm catching up on all of the pages I save when I'm surfing. ![]()
An interesting read about one person's experiences with Sun Microsystems.
Read through the comments. Someone does point out that while Dell sells direct, Sun doesn't and their attempt to push the client off to resellers is correct, there's no followup and the client gets nothing but air.
I found an interesting website that I wanted to mention - browsershots.org. It allows you to view your website using different browsers to see how it looks. In addition to the more popular browsers like IE and Firefox, it also allows you to view your site when viewed with browsers like Opera, Konqueror, Firebird, Dillo, and Safari. In addition, you can check again different screen resolutions, Java and Javascript, different versions of Flash, and other selections. It does take a few minutes for the results to appear. After about 20 minutes, I'm still waiting myself for some of the screen shots to come back to me. The site doesn't look too good in IE 5 and Konqueror since they can't handle the div tags.
Don't over do it either. Looks like they have a fairly large queue for results to appear. It is an interesting site though.
Mentioned in one of the email newsletters that I get:
And, no, that's not me in the picture.
