Quirkiness test

I'm kind of behind on support tickets today but I was looking at a blog and saw a link to the Quirkiness test. I'll take it later today. :)
From here and probably elsewhere:
AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - A Dutch design student bored with conventional advertisements has set up a fake online agency offering advertising space for beer, cars and TV stations on prostitutes’ thighs and cleavage. On his website www.instoresnow.nl, Raoul Balai also proposed painting brand names on zoo animals and floating huge billboards off popular beaches to get vacationers’ attention. “I was getting sick and tired of advertising everywhere,” Balai told reporters. “But I don’t want to preach, and I thought satire would work better.” Far from taking his ideas as a joke, an Amsterdam zoo had its lawyer threaten Balai with a defamation suit after his website depicted fish from the zoo bearing the brand name of a frozen fish company. Prospective customers phoning his fake agency are kept on hold and bombarded with sales pitches until they give up.
Some cool pictures of Nikhil and Sauyee and their recent trip to Italy.

This site has taken DiggUser's cartoon vids, added 1500 more music videos from the 80s, and a few 'ladies of YouTube' streams and put them into a streamlined channel browser with thumbnails for every video. (IFrames != Ajax, but good enough.)

Absolut Search GameI found 41 of the bottles out of 88 on the Absolut Search Game. Granted I had a lot of problems hitting them as well as the original poster. Play it here. You get some free desktop Wallpaper out of it which makes it today's features desktop wallpaper. (Hey, two birds with one stone. :))

*shrug* Well, I had to do something with the Daria.be domain with all of the inbound links that exist for it.

We've got a DMOZ mirror over there now. Check it out if you want to. :)

Death Forcaster

Bored.com has released a Death Forcaster which is supposed to estimate your life expectancy.

Taken from the The Rock & Roll Librarian.

If you haven't guessed, I'm a bit of a Kim Possible fan. The two Internet boards I visit each day are full of (what I think are) funny captions for pictures that I have come up with that I have also duped over here.

For the longest time, I've also been wanting to do an online webcomic.

One of my hosting clients suggested that I combine the two ideas.

Hmmm...

So, may i introduce the Kim Possible: Remixed WebComic.

Sure, it may be screencaps but that hasn't stopped many other webcomics from doing the same. I can't draw anyway.

It'll be updated twice a day. Once at midnight with what will probably be a caption I have already published and a newer caption around noon. That's US Eastern time by the way. (Currently -4 Universial Time)

Be sure to vote for it as well. :)

View it here

Thanks,
-drmike

Favicon Creator

As you may have noticed, we now have a favicon attached to our site. I was getting tired of our error logs filled with mentions of this missing file. Now, it's fixed. I do want to mention a great site that will allow you to take any image and convert it to the necessary format. It's over at Chami.com. All you do is upload the picture to its server and it convers it over to the right size and everything. You can use it here: FavIcon from Pics. They have some other free online tools that you can use here. I'm even going to add a link along the right hand side once I finish this post. Here it is full size: Our new Favicon image
