Yesterday I added in Babylon 5 - Born to the Purple.  Today, we have The Parliament of Dreams.  Give it a watch.

Description: G'Kar is hunted by a hired political assassin. Sinclair and Catherine reconcile their past differences and renew their romance.

edit: I really wish Hulu would let folks embed the high resolution version of their videos
Luke wasn't impressed.  I thought she was pretty good for a ten year old.

OK, yesterday you had Babylon 5 - Soul Hunter.  Today, you get Babylon 5 - Born to the Purple.  Sinclair helps save Londo's political career when an exotic dancer steals Londo's secret files in order to gain her freedom from her sadistic slave owner.  Enjoy.

Yes, it's your favorite game show, all grown up now.

I can't remember how I came across this one but I got a chuckle out of it.  Wish it was longer.

This is so much not safe for work for language and somewhat graphic violence.

OK, so it's been a couple of days since I added in Babylon 5 - Midnight on the Firing Line.  Sorry about that.  Been working on a project. (edit: and it appears the autoposter didn't fire off correctly either last night.)

Today, we add in Soul Hunter.  A badly damaged ship is brought into the station, and the strange alien inside is identified as a Soul Hunter - an immortal race who can sense death and supposedly steal someone's soul.
Not really.  Just a quick mention that we're moving some accounts around this afternoon so stuff may not work right.  To keep you busy, he's Conan O'Brien giving us his version of "Trouble" from the 2006 Emmy Awards.  I actually bookmarked this quite some time ago and have been looking for an excuse to use it.
b5logo.jpg To continue on after watching the Babylon 5 pilot, The Gathering, here's the first episode from the first season, Midnight on the Firing Line. Commander Sinclair is accused of trying to murder an alien ambassador during an important peace conference held on Babylon 5. Hope you enjoy it.
b5logo.jpgA long time ago, I was adding in the Avatar: The Last Airbender videos to the site here.  I was adding in one a day just as an excuse to watch the shows in order.(Yes, I know I have to go back through and readd them in.  It's on my todo list.)

I've decided to start doing that again.  I've been watching a number of different series over at Hulu and they allow shows to be embedded.  Lets give it a try.

Today, we're going to start off with Babylon 5.  Angie and I were both fairly big fans of the show.  I always thought it was well written and filmed, had just enough comic relief in it, wasn't as neat and clean as Star Trek was, and had a decent plot line to it.  The physics were a bit off but not too bad. (Sorry but you can't hear explosions in outer space.)

I liked the pilot a lot.  Felt a bit like Blade Runner with the music as well as how it was shot.

Description: The ambassador from Vorlon survives an attempted assassination soon after landing on the Babylon 5 space station. The hunt for a prime suspect turns up the unexpected.
Anyone else notice the similarities between the closing of The Avatar: The Last Airbender and the closing of Reboot?  Both shows finish up with a recap done as a play with the main characters watching.

Have to admit that I love how "professional" the singers are with folks falling down all over the place, the background being rolled too far, etc.

edit: You can find lyrics for the video here: Reboot Recap lyrics.
avatar-the-last-airbender.jpgWell, it's the opening few minutes of it.  Looks like it was filmed at a convention of some sort.  There wasn't any information attached to the video.  The video is rather poor as well as the audio but you should be able to understand it.

I think it's funny.

edit: It appears to be from a showing at New York Comic Con.

reedit: Replaced it with a (much) better version of the video.
