Even Osama Bin Laden complains about Apple's $100 credit that 's getting for his iPhone.

avatar-the-last-airbender.jpgAnd today we show the fourth episode from Avatar: the Last Airbender - The Warriors of Kyoshi.

If you can't see the episode, you'll probably need the DivX player. You can grab it from here. It's 23 megs but well worth it.

Description: As Aang and his friends begin crossing the expansive Earth Kingdom, they are captured by the female warriors of Kyoshi Island. Sokka is trained by the Kyoshi Warriors while Aang lets the villager's reverence go to his head.

An iPhone user takes a trip to England and gets a pretty big surprise when he gets back.

That's what you get when you do all that roaming.

avatar-the-last-airbender.jpgStill plowing through Avatar: the Last Airbender episodes. Today, we give you episode #3 out of the first book: The Southern Air Temple.

Again, if you can't see the video, go grab the DivX player.

Description: While journeying to the North Pole, Aang, Sokka and Katara explore Aang's former home, the Southern Air Temple. Aang learns of his people's genocide at the hands of the Fire Nation; his anger triggers his Avatar State, which in turn alerts the world that the Avatar has returned. Meanwhile, Zuko and his uncle, Iroh, have their ship repaired at a Fire Nation port commanded by a rival, Commander Zhao.

Oh, sure. The iPhone is God's gift to nerds who lack basic manners and they're buying them by the ton. Folks are having issues though with the phone. Sure, the price drop didn't make many people happy even though they're getting that $100 credit back. I personally would rather have the cash but I guess at least something back is better than nothing.

But there's a down side. Folks are getting their first bills. Large bills. Not in money but in paperwork. Take a look at this video as she explains her bill.

avatar-the-last-airbender.jpgWe continue with the episodes from Avatar: the Last Airbender with episode #2 from the first search: Avatar: the Last Airbender - The Avatar Returns. Click on the link below to see it.

Again, if the video doesn't show up for you, that mean you'll probably need the DivX player installed. It's a 23 meg download but it's well worth it. The quality of these videos are well above what you normally get from these flash video sites like YouTube and Google Video.

Oh, after you get the video running, be sure to right click on the video. You'll see an option to download the video to your desktop if you want it. ;)

Any questions? Feel free to leave a comment.

Description: Prince Zuko attacks the Southern Water Tribe seeking to capture the Avatar, Aang. Katara and Sokka fly in on Appa to save Aang from the Fire Nation.

Edit: SInce Stage6 is shutting down, we've had to remove this video. :(

Grabbed from Irfan's blog. (I've done it before) Microsoft came out with Microsoft Surface, a way to interact with a computer built into a table top. Here's a parody created by SarcasticGamer.com of what you could do with that new technology.
avatar-the-last-airbender.jpgI've been watching/ listening to a number of different anime series over on stage6 while I try to do work. One of the shows I've been watching is Avatar: The Last Airbender. I really like this show so I decided to share with everybody. For a cartoon that was created for children, it's rather advanced with detailed plots that last over multiple episodes. I'll post more of them later on. I hope you enjoy them.

If you can't see the episode, you'll probably need the DivX player. You can grab it from here.

Description: Sokka and Katara, two teenage siblings living in the South Pole, discover Aang and his pet flying bison, Appa, trapped in an iceberg. After Katara accidentally frees him, Aang learns that he is the last surviving Airbender. Meanwhile, his unfreezing attracts the attention of the Fire Nation's Zuko.

One of the complaints about the Harry Potter series is how the American versions of the books have been "dumped down" or "localized" for the typical American readers.

Gotta admit though that I don't think the books have been that reduced in quality, even though that have been Americanized. What would happen though if JK's editors had gone all out and made it for their American audience. Here's one version:
Well considering that I have time to blog....

Bill Pinkney passed away Wednesday. The last of the original Drifters was 81 years young. What I didn't know about him was that he pitched for the New York Blue Sox of the Negro Baseball League in the late 1940s and early '50s.
