Copyright Policies
All material on this site is held under copyright, either mine or someone else's. While I don't mind usage of some material, at the very least acknowledgment that the material is not yours but mine as well as a link back to where you got it from is required. Failure to do so will result in notice sent to your website's host and/or datacenter. Use of such material is agreement to said policy and acknowledgment that it will be followed at the time of usage for the duration of said usage. I reserve the option to block access to material if said policy is not followed. (ie: If you don't give a link back when you use an image hosted here, I'll replace it with something else, block your site, and report you to your host for copyright violations and abuse. And, no, you can't go back and remove the link or the acknowledgment afterwards.)
Comment Policies
Some of these policies have been swipped from Problogger.
- Comments are welcomed. I know some sites, your comment will be deleted if you don't go along with the author of the post or the owner of the site. I won't delete you if you disagree.
- Comments are held for moderation and review. That's why your comment doesn't show up right away.
- Please remain civil. Shouldn't have to say this but if you're rude, obscene or just a general ass, please don't expect your comment to be published.
- I delete spam. Should go without saying. I have spam filters in place which automatically catch the majority of automated spam comments. I don't put up with it and if any slip through the filters I delete it immediately. I do review all comments marked as spam before deleting though to make sure none were caught incorrectly..
- ID Yourself. This should be understood as it's basic business ethics in my opinion but some folks do not understand this concept. If you leave a comment as a representative of a company or an organization, please identify yourself within that comment. A link to your site is not enough as folks will throw links up there willy nilly.
- Please leave a real email address. You can fake the name if you want but please leave a real email address if I need to contact you. It's not visible by visitors so there's no risk.
- Relevant links in comments are actively encouraged. Fell free. If you want to point folks to another site that goes along with what's being discussed, feel free.
- Irrelevant links are not encouraged. If the link doesn't have anything to do with what's being discussed, it will probably be deleted.
- I do not allow signatures in comments. Please don't.
- Links are not nofollowed. If you've taken the time to write a comment, I think you should get credit for it. I've also adjusted Movable Type to link directly to your site.
- Spelling doesn't count. Some folks have problems with using a keyboard. Please remember that.

Third Party Advertiser Cookies and Web Beacons
This web site participates in a number of different marketing and statistics tracking programs.
